Eloise is Hiding!

We got these pjs as a gift for Claire and at the time we realized that they matched her crib sheets perfectly. So, we couldn't resist taking this picture of Claire, so we had to do it for Eloise, too.

Here is Eloise...

and Claire...

Cuddling with Daddy

Daddy and his girls sleeping in on a Saturday morning.

Cruisin' in the Stroller

Thanks to the grandparents, Roberta and Otto, the girls have fun cruising in their jogging stroller on most mornings as Mommy tries to get some exercise in. Claire is great in the stroller, but Eloise still needs to be convinced that it's a good thing sometimes.

Getting ready for Halloween

Thanks to their Aunt Julie, the girls have very cute matching t-shirts for Halloween. Can you tell I'm having fun dressing them alike when possible?

We would welcome any matching Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine, etc. shirts.... ;)

Our new home... playground opportunities abound

So we are now nearly settled in our new home on base. Here is a picture of our building. We are on the far left, second floor.

Claire and Eloise have done really well with the move and Claire is having a great time. She has a ton of activities and a dozen playgrounds she can go to. We can see playgrounds from all of our windows.

So, here we are, hanging out at one of the playgrounds.

Claire's First Soccer Game

So, I certainly think there is a reason Claire's soccer team has a minimum age of three. Our friend Melissa is the coach of the team, so she said Claire could "sneak" on the team, and I was hoping to find another opportunity for her to socialize, but she is not the most focused player.

On the kick off day for the soccer season, there were a ton of activities at the park. There was an opening ceremony, the kids got their pictures taken with the team, and coincidentally, there was a "fire prevention" fair complete with a bouncy house.

So, before the game, Claire went to the opening ceremony and got her picture taken with the team.

Then, she went to the fire prevention fair to jump in the bouncy house, play with a fire hose and get her face painted.

By the time game time rolled around, all she wanted to do was lay on the sideline mat.

And, although I looked on proudly, at this, her first official sporting event, with of her standing atop a future Olympic podium, even I can admit that she wasn't much help in the game.

Click here to see a video of Claire "playing" in the game.

Her team did win, however, but sadly, very little of that can be credited to her.

Maybe she'll do better when she's three. ;)

Two Months Old!

Eloise turned two months old on the second day of our move, September 30th. You can't see it in the picture, but she is surrounded by boxes. It was such a busy day, I'm shocked I was able to get this picture in!

Behind on Blogging....

Life has been a little crazy since our big move, but things are beginning to settle down. I've got a bit of catching up to do on the blog, so here goes!
