Today is Claire's second birthday. She had a great day and she loved her new pink bike from mommy and daddy. It's amazing how two years have flown by!

We are mailing (tomorrow) a special picture book for her that we just received as a gift ourselves on Monday evening in Prosser WA. It's drawn (and written) by the illustrator I found on the internet, and who, fortunately lives just south of Yakima. He and his wife were both wonderful and are very interested in our choosing him to be the Illustrator for "Yule." When I saw his book, "Sir Norman and the Dreaming Dragon," I thought it would be a very special birthday present for Claire. It's got great pictures and I think you will like the Dragon story, that comes with a twist - getting in touch with his Anima (Norman's feminine side in that he isn't compelled to kill the dragon, but to make friends with it instead -- what a concept!).
I'm sure you are looking forward to the B-D party on Saturday. I'll be thinking of you all.
